What is Lipitor used for?Lipitor (generic name: atorvastatin calcium) is an oral medication indicated to treat elevated total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C), apolipoprotein B, and triglycerides, and it also increases the level of high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C).
