Low levels of thyroxine (T4) cause more constriction of blood vessels and impaired blood flow, leading to decreased body temperature. Body temps
At 63 I thought I was done with body temp changes. but since increasing my Cymbalta for depression, I suffer with excessive sweating and temps outside are 50. or when in house and temp are 70s, When I walk thru Walmart the sweat just pours out of my face and head. Have never dealt with anything like this.

The increased blood flow also increases heat dissipation in the body, and thus decreases rate of core body temp increase, this is shown in the

The ibuprofen is digested in about 1/2 hr to 45 minutes and should start to lower her temp soon after this. Definitely by an hour. If more time has passed and her temp is quite high and you feel it needs to come down (103 and above is what I call high) then you can dose Tylenol as well as it works differently.
Your body sweats in order to bring your temp down - think hot countries, exercise etc. So as paracetamol lowers your body temp, you will sweat!

The same would be true of the thermal transfer to core body temp of more than 5.5 quarts of water maintained at +23.5 degrees above normal body temp: You'd spike core body temp very, very, sharply, probably to well over 105 degrees -- and circulating overheated blood through the brain would be very very bad, if not fatal.
Obviously, this is overthinking a fantasy story, but you REALLY want to consider the consequences of fucking about with humans' core body temperatures.
Sometimes it became too bogged down by different metaphors to relay a single point.
