Yes, gabapentin can cause hair loss, but not in everyone. When a drug causes hair loss, it's referred to as drug-induced hair loss or drug-induced alopecia.

You never mentioned the experimental drug. Is this product on the market?
we have seen too many stories here where the McGuffin was the woman was given ralphies or X to start the affair. so i hate to advocate drugs for a story line, but an addiction to drugs would seem to be the possible reason for the loss of mother love for the little kid. Meth, crack, crank, coke or even X. and there have not been a lot of drug addict stories here. still, an addiction would show other effects over 6 months.
Absolutely loved this chapter and am definitely looking forward to reading more. A highly entertaining read. She took the sudden loss of her hair very well (most women wouldn’t), very dedicated in her role.
Thanks! 5 stars obviously.
