Quick note: 1g = 1.6 lunar gravities (this is the inverse of 1 lunar gravity = .6g), so 5g = (5x1.6lunar g) = 8.3 lunar g, not 30.

Just stumbled onto this barn burner all these years later. What a rush. My wife and I used to enjoy 1g-2b three-ways often, and the story really brought back hot memories. Watching another dude fuck my smokin’ wife was magnificent, added a whole new dimension to sizzling sex with that delicious enchantress.
It is curious that those disgusted critics took the time to read it, and as a few commentators have pointed out, what the hell are they doing on the site in the first place?
Well done.

Couple of things - gravity isn't a switch that only applies when you're in contact, so the moon's gravity would be added to the deceleration gs, more and more, so effective gravity would be 1.2-1.6gs depending on the deceleration magnitude of .6-1g as described.
Also, someone weighing 10kg on the moon would weigh less than 17kg on earth. Even a super small adult would weigh over 50kg, which would be over 30kg on the moon. weight, of course; mass would be constant as you point out elsewhere.
Looking forward to seeing where this is going!

-- now that Fat Tony with Kelli and Perl are all saved, am going to miss the story, sub-plot, ... anyway, that was a fine chapter, ... lots revealed, ... the gang got Tachyon rifles with runic penetrator ammo (bad ass weapons), and Dana got to turn the lights back on in Karron, that had to have been an old dream of hers, ....
-- I have been picturing Karron as a Ceres or Pluto sized dwarf planet, ... maybe just a bit larger and denser too, with all that mineral wealth, ... and that might be why Tef never mentions it having noticeably lighter gravity, the denser little world is pretty heavy, so its gravity is nearer to 1G (one Earth gravity), .... maybe, ... ;-) ttfn

While I still love the story series, this chapter's abuse of the laws of motion broke, nay shattered, my suspension of disbelief completely.
A few facts: 1500Mph = 670.56 m/s 1G = 9.8m/s/s to go from 670.56 m/s to 0 (or vice-versa) in 0.5 sec would generate a force of 1341.12 m/s/s or about 136Gs (in a LATERAL vector). Everyone aboard would be dead of severe internal trauma from the intertia alone (since I don't recall the invention/installation of floor, ceiling, & wall-mounted inertial stabilizers/dampeners in the story - unless my memory fails me here - and if intertial stabilizers/dampeners were in place and operating properly, then nobody's bodies should have experienced ANY sort of slam into their safety harnesses).
In addition - such high-speed (mach 2+) maneuvers could never be done with the mickey mouse ears extended - the drag forces alone would shear them off their structural members - to say nothing of the damage from such severe G forces during acceleration/deceleration. The mouse ears would absolutely have to have been retracted during any such high-speed mach-plus atmospheric maneuvers!
So, while I found this chapter entertaining, I found it ultimately highly disappointing. None of the bridge crew would have made these mistakes - they are too smart for that!

As soon as the two ships docked, Faye's maintenance bots began using grav-clamps to form a chain of cargo pods, and started transferring the massive volume of Trankaran ores from the Invictus across to the Maliri vessel. Faye had predicted that it would take at least a day to complete the transfer, as the cargo bay of the Andresil Enkana was not able to directly connect to the Invictus, as they had with the Trankaran freighter.
This is hilarious to me, because the author has repairs and new weapon development being carried out in mere hours in most cases, which is ridiculous. And I'm not talking about using mental powers to re-shape armor plate. I'm talking about putting together a brand new rifle design from concept to ready to fire in a matter of a few hours, or repairing combat damage to a huge mecha or a gunship or the Invictus itself in a matter of a few hours. And then the author makes cargo transfer *in space* take a full day. Using robots. Oh no, the cargo bays don't match up? Who cares! Open both cargo bay doors to space and float the cargo across in the zero G of space. Mass still takes effort to move in zero G, but much less if you're not fighting a 1G gravity on top of the mass of the cargo. And mis-matched cargo doors is irrelevant to this process.

Sorry folks, but today was SUC-TACTIC!
I went to the General Practitioner at 9:00 am for my 6 month check up (and to check up on what had happened at the start of the year). It seems I've developed a respiratory infection so I was given some of those horse pill to fight it (Azithromycin) ... which came with THREE Level Three drug interaction warnings ... including the freaking risk of death ~ when in league with my Clozapine ... WOOT!
Next I learned my Urologist has 'misplaced' the initial files on my testosterone prescription ... which came from my Endocrinologist years and years ago. Now I have to wait for two weeks (and two blood draws) to show I have low-T so I can have the pleasure of my wife injecting me in the tush every Monday night. Until then I will be running around with less energy than I am currently struggling with ... DOUBLE-WOOT!!!
And lets not forget I am having to remove all caffeine from my diet as well so I'm already pretty much a walking zombie ... Triple woot?
Lastly, thanks to snow last week, I have my entire family in the house until FRIDAY ... which is stressing out my normally hermit-like nature. I love my kids, but at the moment my daughter is working on her cosplay outfit for Animazement which she does in my Man-Cave because it has more room to spread out in. I'm slowly losing my ever-loving MIND!!!!
Progress report: Nothing really. I haven't done any constructive work in the past two weeks and very little before then. I am trying to put out a story I started on back in 2016 and I have a chapter and a half already developed.
I have done no work on the next chapter of Ebb Tide. I know where I want to go, but am unsure how I'm going to get there.
