'Date rape' drugs for the most part render you incapable of rational thoughts similar to being extremely drunk. And/or unconscious. Thus facilitating easy rape.
Some of these drugs can lead to death because of not knowing what dosage a person may be able to 'tolerate'.
Stories where 'Date rape' drugs lead to a person screaming for more and such are largely unbelievable.

Thanks! Fun ride. This is kind of similar to other band stories, including sleazy manager and drugs, I was for a moment thinking it was a re-release/revised version, but I suppose band journeys are pretty similar. Anyway, fun read, nonetheless.
